The royal council is comprised of the royal family members, mostly elderly members. A selected number of royal council members were ordered to form a tribal council structure, which consist of 10 members chosen from the community.

The tribal council has powers to act and make decisions that are beneficial for the community of Ga-Matlala Ramoshebo.
