The trust is formed to own different assets in our community. The main goal is to get a certain % ownership of any existing business and any other business to be established in future in this community and the minimum % target of ownership is 5% to 50%. The trust will also on continuous basis seek different opportunities to generate revenue for the benefit of Ga-matlala ramoshebo community and the kingdom.

The trust will target all the sectors in the village, starting from art, farming, retail, accommodation, manufacturing, construction and many more.

The trust has agreed to implement 40% to 60% headcount policy in all businesses to come from this community. People are encouraged to complete basic education to be able to secure better positions in future.

Businesses own by residences and non-residence are also affected by this development strategy.

The purpose of this initiative is to offload some responsibility from the government and private institutions. The trust’s aim is to get people of ga-matlala ramoshebo independency, mostly on their basic needs over a period of time. The trust also aims to influence other villages in moutse west to put similar initiatives for their communities.
